This is one of the reasons in my mockup[1] (sod the visual aspect), I was attempting to hide the underlying technologies and show where the users/developers/downloaders/news were clustering. So, intermingling showing segregated *content*, not different technologies. Initially I'd been pushing for this segregation based on the initial use cases and content, rather than technology (i.e. distinguishing wiki from static docs is fairly useless to most visitors). However, there *was* quite a bit of pushback on this in the initial IRC meeting, IIRC.
