Let's not get ahead of ourselves, but I imagine that what will happen is that when a council for MeeGo is proposed (which it will be, by someone) that we will go through the same heart-wrenching debate about who gets to vote again, have an election, and the MeeGo council will supercede the Maemo Council. At least, that's what I'd expect. It'll be interesting to see if any Nokia or Intel developers run for the MeeGo council (remember there's nothing stopping a Nokia developer who wants to make the council better from running for the council either).
