As difficult as it is to get Nokia to act as a coherent mind, it will be more than twice as difficult with Nokia + Intel. I would not expect there to be an easy way to have the same efficiency we have now with MeeGo - to my mind, the technical steering committee will probably have a related community steering committee & (if we can avoid excessive bureaucracy all round) that would be the logical landing spot for Council queries & interactions. The community steering committee would consist of the MeeGo council + Dawn & Quim, and perhaps us staff, and would meet regularly among themselves, and also with the technical steering committee. I don't think it makes sense to put "Maemo" or "moblin" stickers on seats in the MeeGo council - much better to work ASAP on building a MeeGo identity, and getting to know the most active people on both sides. Of course, for the moment this is all hypothetical seed-planting.
