Why would any US company want to put a workforce into a product that won't be sold in the US?
It's the U.S. consumers who _may_ be out of luck depending on what happens with the distribution channels -- which, isn't it still too early to speculate?
Yes, it is early. I am trying to be optimistic about the situation, but Nokia has not given much positive press to go on.
