Not exactly. I think I've broken my mmc with so much usb up and down :(
It sometimes crashes. But then I format it again (the VFAT part) and it
seems to work till crashes again.

Don't reboot your Nokia device or unplug the USB cable without first
unmounting the USB drive from the Linux system.  This is almost
certainly what is causing the errors in your MMC drive's FAT file
system.

The host system quickly buffers changes to the USB drive in RAM and
then more slowly writes them out to the physical drive. Unmounting
will force these changes to be written. If you unplug before they are
written the file system will be partially updated which causes the
errors you see.



I've received very good help from Frantisek. And I think I'm going to get
it. But I need another card in order to be sure about the results. I breath
a little bit more again. This weekend I'll find out whether I can or cannot
reboot the device from my mmc.
