Hi,

My computer rebooted during compilation today because the battery run out
and I originally thought that was the cause of the scratchbox breaking. So
I removed scratchbox and reinstalled it. But still it does not work and by
digging maemo-developers it looks like somebody else has this same problem
too. So it looks like some library got upgraded recently and the reboot
just made the system to reload it and thus bumping into the problem after
the accidental reboot was just a coincidence. I am running it on
up-to-date Ubuntu Feisty (dist-upgraded last time today). I have no other
problems with the OS except for Scratchbox no longer runs.

This is what happens:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/scratchbox$ ./login
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: rtld.c: 1192: dl_main: Assertion `(void
*) ph->p_vaddr == _rtld_local._dl_sysinfo_dso' failed!

You dont have active target in scratchbox chroot.
Please create one by running "sb-menu" before continuing

Welcome to Scratchbox, the cross-compilation toolkit!

Use 'sb-menu' to change your compilation target.
See /scratchbox/doc/ for documentation.

Has anybody found a cure for this yet? It is very annoying and time
consuming if I need to downgrade back to Ubuntu Edgy as I have been
happily using Feisty for the last autumn without much problems and now
this happens with just the most important tool I have on my hard drive...

Best Wishes,
Karoliina
