For sure, but a device is not "made" only by end-users. So, if developers are asking to have python on the device, so they can develop their stuff, fair enough right ? Otherwise you would be saying: "no, if you want to develop anything for the device, it must be in C".. why would be that ? Great applications like Carman, Konttouri's player and others were written in python. And the final users wont have this applications working well if we dont have python support for the platform.
