Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Mer based on Ubuntu? from the wiki: "Mer is a new Linux operating system, built upon a thin base of Ubuntu Jaunty combined with the best open-source elements of Nokia's Maemo platform." Are those "open-source elements of Nokia's Maemo platform" already coming from maemo 5?
