Thanks for helping but 1) Please use a better changelog message, like "Rebuild for perl 5.14". Increase rel for rebuild is not interesting when looking at the history of a package. 2) How did you get the list of packages to rebuild? You seem to rebuild packages which don't need to be rebuilt. I noticed perl-Youri-Package which I wouldn't expect needing to be rebuilt. # rpm -qp --requires /distrib/bootstrap/distrib/1/i586/media/core/release/perl-Youri-Package-0.2.2-4.mga1.noarch.rpm perl-version rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1 rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1 rpmlib(VersionedDependencies) <= 3.0.3-1 perl-base >= 2:5.12.3 rpmlib(PayloadIsLzma) <= 4.4.6-1 It does not depend on perlapi-5.12
