I did run rpmlint to the spec file and that error about the dot didn't
came up (on Mandriva, don't have my Mageia install at hand).
This error was always reported by rpmlint. Maybe you just have no policy
installed? Check for rpmlint-mandriva-policy on Mandriva and
rpmlint-mageia-policy
for Mageia. Sadly the policy is not even suggested when installing rpmlint :(
