Could you try with the new kernel 3.1.4 as things are now?

If that doesn't work, boot into the old working kernel, do a "urpmi
dracut" and then recreate the initrd by doing the following as root:

rm -f /boot/initrd-3.1.4-desktop-1.mga2.img
/sbin/installkernel -N 3.1.4-desktop-1.mga2

Then reboot into the new kernel and see if it works better.

Still unable to boot into the 3.1.4 kernel from the update

After executing these two command, still unable to boot.

Same error message : /bin/systemctl: error while loading shared libraries:
libsystemd-daemon.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
