GNOME: - Various releases of GNOME 3.5.x; another one being released atm - 3.5.x will at one point require a really new systemd (with hibernate/sleep functionality; in the systemd announcement Lennart said he'd explain soon in a blogpost) - GNOME online accounts 3.5.x at one point will depend on something to allow you to use the Microsoft Cloud thing (whatever the name is) - GNOME online accounts can depend on Facebook, but doesn't do by default. Think I might activate this - GNOME is adding some kind of initial setup screen, think handled by GDM. No details yet.
Cauldron: - wait until new xorg is in cauldron (not testing) - wait until new systemd (with udev) is in cauldron - then move to 3.5.x and make GNOME require systemd at same time: explicitly kill any ConsoleKit support (some bits fall back to ConsoleKit, some bits don't.. supporting sysvinit will go away with Mageia 3, and I rather prevent bugreports from such configurations) For Mageia 2: - there are still various bugreports open. Help welcome. - GNOME 3.4.2 should be provided as an update Hopefully can -- Regards, Olav
