Rebooting, nothing has changed. I get grub, lots of disk activity led flickering, but no output to the screen, with or without Esc. I can boot into Safe moade, which lands me in Rescue Mode - but I haven't a clue what to do next.
Try editing the kernel parameters in grub. Remove "splash quiet", if present. Add " 3 xdriver=vesa". The 3 gets translated by systemd to systemd.unit=multi-user.target, is shorter to type, and easier to remember. Regards, Dave Hodgins
