I have hit a problem with urpmi. Something in the system has been corrupted. After a lot of downloads using the wireless adapter I switched to a wired connection because wireless kept dropping out unpredictably. After a while continuing with installations urpmi reckoned that the database needed updating. Did not know how to do that so tried urpmi --auto-update and ended up with the following errors:
The following packages have to be removed for others to be upgraded: basesystem-2-6.mga2.x86_64 (due to missing basesystem-minimal) basesystem-minimal-2-6.mga2.x86_64 (due to unsatisfied mageia-release >= 1) drakconf-12.26-1.mga2.noarch (due to missing mageia-release) mageia-release-Default-2-0.7.mga2.x86_64 (due to missing mageia-release-common(lib64)) mageia-release-common-2-0.7.mga2.x86_64 (due to conflicts with kernel-desktop-3.3.3-1.mga2-1-1.mga2.i586) rpm-build-4.9.1.3-2.mga2.x86_64 (due to unsatisfied rpm-mageia-setup-build >= 1.34) rpm-mageia-setup-build-1.147-6.mga2.x86_64 (due to missing mageia-release) urpmi reports that basesystem-minimal is already installed if I try to install it and the same with other components. Is there any way to recover from this situation or do I have to reinstall? Help!
