I recently tried installing ImageMagick-6.2.6-5 from source on my Mac
under OS-X 10.4.5. I ran ./configure as root, and it failed to supply
tiff, jpeg, and png support. My old version (6.1.8) installed via
fink has this support. Why doesn't the new version have the
appropriate libraries included with it, & how do I get this
capability? The program is all but useless to me without tif and png
support.
