2'nd call:
the IM 6.2.7-2 distribution does not include the library magic/
libMagick.la, therefore it cannot complete loading. The version of
this library included with the IM 6.2.6-8 distribution does not work
with the new one. Either the installer is looking for it in a
different directory in this one, or it needs to be re-compiled. On my
system, this library was installed on /usr/local/lib by IM 6.2.6. The
newer version of IM seems to work when I run from within the
imagemagick-6.2.7 directory, and I suspect it may work if I manually
move the executables into /usr/local/bin, but I'm not going to do so
just yet.
BTW, thanks for fixing the libtool command so that it no longer
complains about IDL on my Mac G5.
