I tried now ImageMagick 6.2.3 02/24/06 Q16 and it works.

apt-cache policy ImageMagick
ImageMagick:
  Installed: 6.2.3-4.2
  Candidate: 6.2.3-4.2
  Version Table:
 *** 6.2.3-4.2 0
        500 ftp://ftp.gwdg.de SuSE/10.0-i386/security pkglist
        500 ftp://ftp.gwdg.de SuSE/10.0-i386/update pkglist
        100 RPM Database
     6.2.3-4 0
        500 ftp://ftp.gwdg.de SuSE/10.0-i386/base pkglist

So is it a bug of the Debian package or a problem with 6.2.4?

Al
