Sorry folks, but the latest release of the IM for Mac still does not
include all the source files for magick/libMagick.la and the older
copy of this library I have will not work flawlessly with this
distribution. I've tried over 8 different configure options to no
avail. Please include ALL the subroutines for this library in
subsequent releases!
In the last run, I used ./configure LDFLAGS=-L/usr/local/lib --
enable-shared --disable-static
After copying libMagick.la from /usr/local/lib to /ImageMagick-6.2.7/
magick. This time, instead of having the make complain about about a
hundred missing symbols in libMagick.la, instead it complained about
missing symbols _AdaptiveSharpenImageChannel and
_PaintOpaqueImageChannel in libWand.la
Kindly fix this. It shouldn't be so difficult to include the proper
subroutines in the proper places! It consumes well over an hour of
realtime to accomplish the make, time that is utterly wasted dealing
with compilation errors such as these. BTW, my copies of these
libraries were made from IM 6.1.8.
