You mean something like:
Convert a.gif b.gif +append out.gif

http://www.cit.gu.edu.au/~anthony/graphics/imagick6/mosaics/#append

Subject: [magick-users] Page, set page and repage?
Been experimenting a bit with all of them, and as I can't get them to behave
the way I want them to, I thought I might as well just list an example of what
I want to do. It's really very simple. I have two images
of equal dimensions that are supposed to be lined up side by side. So, I
want to take the first image and double its vertical canvas size so that
I can paste the other image in the sequence in the resulting space, and then
save the product. Any takers?
Best regards
Jesper Eije

Ah durr. I guess I have a tendency to overcomplicate things. Thanks a lot, that
was exactly what I needed.
Best regards

I know this program can do what I need but have been unable to get the syntax
right. Using the Command Line, I need to extract the JPG Exif data and output
that to a text file. I think a variation of the convert -verbose command will
do what I need but I am unable to get it to work. Each time I issue the
command at the DOS prompt, it displays the help text.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dick Day

Use
convert image.img -verbose info:
OR
identify -verbose image.img
the later is the prefered method.
