yeah, but the movies I'm working on typically contain about 20,000
frames and are on the order of 250MB. Multiplying that by 8 would just
make them unmanageable. Is there any way to set the framerate using
imagemagick?

Hi,
I'm running imagemagick on centos and I've been making mpeg files from a
bunch of jpegs using basically
convert *.jpeg mymovie.mpeg
which seems to work fine except that I'd like to introduce some sort of
a delay between frames that could be understood by a movie player. Like,
let's say if I wanted to have the movie play at only 3 frames / second
or something like that.
Since movies are ca. 25 fps multiply each frame 8 times and done. It is
shell job.
