The above is for 8 bit images.  Looking at an
image with the "-depth 8" flag (IM was compiled
with Q=16) I now see percentage values rather
than 16 bit code valuse. Again this makes it
very hard to know what the actual code values
are (which is what one usually needs if one is
looking at pixel values).  Is there a flag to
modify this behaviour. I see nothing about it
in the docs.
