I'm new to this list (and postscript) and I hope this isn't the wrong place to ask. I am having problems viewing some home grown PS files. I am using IM and but I can't view them with anything else either so my problem is not with IM.
I've read about all I can read pertaining to my situation and I'm not getting anywhere fast. I'm using raster data as my source and I seem to be hitting some size limitation ( I think). I have a file that displays as expected. When I add a single additional line of raster data and change the header accordingly it no longer displays and I get the following with the display command. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/10.0/home/markh> display /tmp/lcrsp8878_4_5 ERROR: /limitcheck in -file- Operand stack: 792 663 1 --nostringval-- Execution stack: %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop --nostringval-- 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push Dictionary stack: --dict:1142/3371(ro)(G)-- --dict:0/20(G)-- --dict:107/200(L)-- Current allocation mode is local Last OS error: 2 Current file position is 131252 ESP Ghostscript 8.15.3: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 ERROR: /limitcheck in -file- Operand stack: 792 663 1 --nostringval-- Execution stack: %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop --nostringval-- 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push Dictionary stack: --dict:1142/3371(ro)(G)-- --dict:0/20(G)-- --dict:107/200(L)-- Current allocation mode is local Last OS error: 2 Current file position is 131252 ESP Ghostscript 8.15.3: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 display: no decode delegate for this image format `/tmp/lcrsp8878_4_5'. display: Postscript delegate failed `/tmp/lcrsp8878_4_5'. The files are very basic and only display a black box. I've attached a good one and the bad one. Again, the only difference in the raster data is a single line of data and the header info. If anyone could help me figure out what I am doing wrong or point me to somewhere else it might be appropriate to ask this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and regards Mark
