Hello,

I need help building a script with IM. Please note that I have very little
recent experience with this software, although I understand some of the
basic concepts. As such, I would be willing to pay someone to help me build
this script.

The script will need to combine two images. Files will be named like this:
a_b_c#.jpg. The file names will be variable in length. Images with similar
names need to be combined. So, JONES_First_Last1.jpg and
JONES_First_Last2.jpg would be a match. They need to be "combined"
side-by-side into a new image. So, if each image is x pixels wide, the final
image will be 2x pixels wide. I have thousands of files that I need to
combine in this manner, so the script would need to be run without user
intervention.

Some files do not have a match, so they would need to be combined with a
placeholder so that it is still 2x wide.

I’m running Windows XP, and would need to work from the Windows command line
(I don’t have time to set up a web server with IM on it).

Is something like this possible?

Thanks for your help.
