-fx is a freeform image manipulator that will allow you to implement just
about anything that is not currently provided.  Abet very very slowly.

For example it was used to initially implement vignette removal, and
perspective distortion (and many other operations) before they were later
added directly into the core library in some way.

Many of Fred Weinhaus Scripts http://www.fmwconcepts.com/imagemagick/
for example have both the old FX implementation, as well as the new
fast core library replacement (depending on the IM version number).
