Hmm. It's nearly what I want. Two things I don't like about it: 1. There are two magit refreshs involved. This can take quite some time, especially with large repositories on NFS shares. That's how I work most of the time. 2. It resets to the commit at point, not to the parent. I often want to discard every unpushed commit; so I'd need log mode for that 'cause it wouldn't be possible from status mode. Anyway, if this is too much of a circumstantial command then I'll just keep it in my own repo. Regards, m.
