When I run l l from a status buffer, or magit-log, I get the message 'Autoloading failed to define magit-log'.
I have magit 20140102.1815 from Melpa on Emacs 24.3 on OS X. Maybe I'm not initialising magit properly? I load the package system with (package-initialize).
