Hi all,

this morning I installed the "next" branch of magit, together with
git-modes. I tried several variations, but I'm still unable to get it
correctly loaded, due to the following error:

  Loading magit-blame...
load: Symbol's value as variable is void: magit-blame-popup

AFAICT, that symbol get defined by magit-blame.el, although later in the
source than its first reference... I don't speak list enough to say if
that's the problem though.

To get it going, I commented out the (require 'magit-blame) in
magit.el. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong.

Another thing that I tried without success is to set the default value
of the --verbose switch: I saw the new "C-c C-c" and "C-x C-s" bindings
in the commit popup menu, but apparently they didn't alter my custom
variables. How can I deduct the right variable name from the popup
definition?

Other than that, the next branch seems much faster on the operations I
do regularly, thank you a lot!

ciao, lele.
