Hello, I can confirm I've just replicated the exact same issue on my institutional site (v1.9.5testing) - if the group admin deletes the 'recent forum posts' block from the about 'home' page there isn't a menu option under general to add it back in.

However, if a Group Admin deletes this, there is no way to restore it - it doesn't exist as a menu item on the group's About page.
