Hi Gorgon, I've tried replicating it on a 1.9.5testing site that I've just installed on my local computer, and I didn't encounter any problems. Here is what I tried:
1. Clean install of Mahara 1.9.5testing 2. Log in as admin 3. Create a group (with all the default group settings) 4. In the group, go to the "Pages" tab, then click the "edit" icon for "Group homepage". 5. Click the delete icon for the "Latest forum posts" block. 6. Expand the "General" tab in the block selector Expected result: The "Recent forum posts" block is available, and can be dragged into the page. I also tried it as a non-admin user, to see if that affected anything, but that also worked. Are you doing anything different? However, if a Group Admin deletes this, there is no way to restore it - it doesn't exist as a menu item on the group's About page. We find the Forum block really useful and it would be good for it to behave like a normal block. Affects all recent versions of Mahara, on all browsers and operating systems we've tried. Thanks.
