Thanks for looking at this, Aaron. We are transitioning from an onsite instance of Mahara to a hosted instance. Both are running the same version (15.04.1) and both have anonymous commenting enabled but I see now that I can only reproduce this on our onsite instance, not on our new test environment. I'll take a look and see if there are any other setting differences that may be causing different behaviour.
