The idea is to: 1. Have a proper footer on each theme that is not overwritten by the skin background or the skin colors. Such a footer would then also allow for a big footer that stretches from the bottom on a short page. 2. Add a background color to the footer in every theme to match the theme and ensure that the skin background color / image is only applied to the middle section of the page (between header and footer).
