Hi Domi. Yes, Demo is running on 16.10. I could not replicate your issue on the latest version of Mahara 16.04 either. Can you please check with IT that you are on the latest minor point release of 16.04? Cheers, Kristina

After some further testing it appears that images do work in journals if added via an external URL rather than from a within Mahara. If the URL to the image in Mahara is used the same issue occurs when the content is replaced by the single character zero (0).
