Thank you for your kind response. Sorry, I think I need to elaborate. Yes, I agree, currently we can upload files including videos, etc, but to view them one needs to download them first. They also take up space and add to bandwidth burden.
The feature that I wish for is to EMBED videos and other media from sites such as youtube, embedly, etc into the text area so that they can be watched without the hassle of downloading completely first. I believe that streaming videos has become the norm instead of downloading them before watching. If a Staff has to download videos of all his/her students, it would be very inconvenient. May I request the following: 1. Can we substitute the present textarea with an alternative that provides 'embed' features like: https://www.tinymce.com, 2. Or, Provide for plugins to change the textarea editor or add functionality. 3. Or, In addition to attachments, can we also provide addition 'Embed HTML Code' functionality.
