Hi Kristina, I have dug into this further and it is very odd indeed. Essentially the new user in the different institution who received the automatic collection copy is shown as the name on the 'watchlist' links. However, if you click on the watchlist links they take you through to a completely different portfolio which WAS on the user's access list and watchlist. The two portfolios were created months apart and the users have no overlap in terms of usernames. I can absolutely promised that the pages were not shared with the user at any time as the person who got the auto-collection was a staff person going in to moderate, so they were none the wiser about even having an ePortfolio. Having checked the user's inbox there was no page access notification, only a notifications that the pages had been changed.
What I think might be happening... I don't think that this is a database thing, I think that it is a way that information is shown on the watchlist thing (for us anyway). As I noticed another two watchlist notifications showing another instructor's name as the page owner. In both cases the instructor had merely placed a comment on the page, they did not own the page, but the watchlist notification implied that they owned the page. Just to clarify they were also not the original owner of the page in any way (not a page copied from one of their collections). E.g. From: System To: Jane Anon The page "07 Midway and Final Assessments" belonging to Sarah Anonymous has been changed
The block "Midway Report" has been added or changed
The block "Final Report and Recommendation" has been added or changed The page "07 Midway and Final Assessments" does not belong to Sarah Anonymous, but they did place a comment in several areas on the page. The moderator, the original protagonist of this ticket, also interacted with pages and were then erroneously listed as the owner. To confirm, we have no customisations on our site.
