No, sorry, I can not reproduce it intentionaly. It just happens at random.

'c' from a coredump? 

The two reports show both branches of the "[Yes][No]" decission. 
-  The earlier message was created by the "[No]" branch and continued 
   for about a second and core dumped.
-  The later report is the "[Yes]" branch and was "kill()"-ed  by
   (?) abort().

What about these connection errors? 
What happens if some timer fires while M is operating on some 
other folder?  eg: folder ping

Another nuissance it the ever repeating IMAP error at the end of 
many sessions because the IMAP connection has already timed out.
A canidate for this is "IMAP-lokal/Abfall".
