 Yes, of course. The old draft is deleted when the message is "saved"
which, in this context, means either sent or postponed again. To leave the
old draft you simply have to abandon the window without saving.

 This is impossible now although we could allow for this, of course. But
this is more along the lines of my idea about "Annotate the message"
feature...

 This is why I think a separate annotation would be better than modifying
the message text (and think about the complications with the
encrypted/signed messages...).
