Hi
I found some strange behaviour when M sorts and threads messages in my m-dev maillist folder. What happens is that when date sorting is turned on, some messages pop up at the end of the list (descending order) that should not be there. They have dates that indicate they should be some where near the top of the list instead. This is further exaggerated when threading is turned on, since some messages that are replies to the mis-sorted messages end up being threaded in and shown at the end of the list. The funny thing is that I cant find any of these messages if I turn off threading and sorting, its just like they dissapear completely (I'm not completely sure about that last comment though, the messages might be there some where, I just can't find them.) If I turn date sorting off, the the problem dissapears, but then I have to rely on the arrival order being correct compared to the sent date/time. I have both turned off server threading and sorting to check if the server might be the problem, but to no avail. So I guess the problem is with M itself.(I also tried Mozilla Mail but it does not have the problem, all though I dont know if mozilla uses server or client side threading/sorting) Any comments or suggestions on how to find out where the problem is and how to debug it? -- Thomas Finneid email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Mahogany-Developers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mahogany-developers
