I did myself a test as above and sent it to myself. I then displayed the
results of the three viewers.

It appeas that Trivial markup is getting worse not better. 

Multiple words do not work under any of the filters.
Single delimited words work as expected in HTML filter.
Nothing works under default filter (except it gobbles the delimiter chars from single 
words).
Bold works under text viewer (except it gobbles the delimiter chars from single italic 
words).

To my way of thinking, if a specific markup cannot be supported, it's
delimiters MUST be retained so the viewer can see what was intended. While it
is not a fatal flaw, I'm sure this worked better in the past did it not?

Is there some way that TextMarkup.cpp can be told what viewer it is being
attached to / used by and therefore what markups it may / may not do?

Maybe someone with a < 0.66 version can tell us if my results are the same for
them or not?
