["RAS" I assume?]

Yes RAS sorry

Hmm, this is really weird. And it happens on startup or when you open the
preferences dialog or ...? If you can get to the preferences dialog, is
dialup support disabled there (in the network page)?

When I try to edit: 1) Global Prefs or 2) Mailbox Prefs, can't get into the dialogs to see .. since the Crash Screen comes up.

Sorry, I don't understand this: does it really crash? If so, do you have
the crash report?

Yeah, but the final crash report is "Access Violation", is the crash report appending to the file or overwritting? Appending would be cool..

Sure, but I'd like to see the exact error message and the exact line
number...

It was line 63 of sysutil.h, I think it had to do with an old verion of wx - so ignore this for now.

Right, these are the messages given when wxDialUpManager couldn't have
been created.

NT can not have RAS installed and this is ok. The error message above is
ok as well. What is not ok is that it happens even if dialup support is
disabled and if it crashes it's definitely not ok neither...
