I use Mandrake Linux 9.1 and CVS versions of wxWindows and M. I use Popfile 0.20 platform independent proxy version to do my spam checking. Because I have not yet setup an init script, I need to manually set it running. This morning, after a restart, I forgot to do so and stried to use M to check mail. It (naturally) refused because it couldn't access the proxy. Without shutting down M, I opened a shell window and started Popfile. Came back to M and hit check mail but it wouldn't do so (repeatedly). I then clicked on the POP server icon in the folder list and after answering the question, it did download. Tried Checkmail button - won't work.
