I confess I do not know how to send mail to a group in Mahogany. In Pine you just enter the group name. I just tried this and it does not work in Mahogany. In Mahogany, it would seem that you should at least be able to select a group in an address book and then pick "Compose New Msg", but I just tried that and it does not work either. How do you do it? The Pine approach, where you just enter the group name in either the To: field (if you want all addresses to show to everyone) or in the lcc: (if you do not want the addresses to show but only the group name) is quite nice. > Pine apparently only allows to use the address editor groups for > this. Is it a limitation worth overcoming? I can easily conceive of occasions where the following would be nice: select several names in the address book (e.g., with ctrl-click in Windows), then left click to get a dialogue to do one of the following: i. send To: all of them ii. bcc: all of them, and optionally include a string in the To: field. iii. make a new group from this list of names Related to this, one ought to be able to add to a group just a nickname.
