I have a few questions that I couldn't find in the FAQ or manual. I am using Mahogany 0.64.2 (9 March 2002) in MS Windows XP.
1. I can see the Activity Log when the "Show Log Window" check box in preferences is checked, but whether the box is checked or not, nothing appears in the file I specified in "Log to File" text field. Is there another setting somewhere I need to set to get the activity log written to a file? 2. The manual mentions hand editing filter rules or loading them from a file, but if I edit a rule in the text field of the Filter Rule window, it becomes unusable and causes a parse error dialog box to appear when it is edited or invoked. Is there a way to create a filter rule other than the upper part of the Filter Rule window? 3. I have a fairly long list of correspondents that I'd like to put in a particular folder. Is there a limit to the size of a hand created filter rule? 4. Is there any way to integrate a spell checker without compiling a binary module? Are any recommended? 5. I am interested in submitting changes to the documentation. Is the master source for the documentation in the CVS tree? -- Mac :}) Give a hobbit a fish and he eats fish for a day.
