You probably have to import them into Netscape in some manner.  If the MBOX
files themselves remain clean, you may be able to share them, but if
Netscape needs something extra or if it complains if the .msf files don't
remain synchronized you may have a problem.  I'd suggest trying it first on
mailbox files you can afford to throw away and rebuild as necessary.

Mahogany is very forgiving of other applications reading and writing MBX
and MBOX files that it is using for mailbox folders as long as Mahogany
doesn't have them open at the time.  I wouldn't want to try running both
Netscape and Mahogany at the same time; I can control exactly when Mahogany
opens and closes a given folder, but I have not idea about Netscape.  My
suspicion is that Netscape opens all folders at startup and closes them at
shutdown.
