 Unfortunately you're probably right, although this is not *that* difficult
to do and implementing a way to store metadata associated with the messages
in any folder would open many new possibilities. For example, I'd really
love to associate small notes ("annotations") with the messages. Just
imagine how faster would I fix bugs if I could make the mouse hover over
this message and see a tooltip "Easy to do: just implement metadata
support" :-) I don't know if any existing clients have this feature but I'd
really love to add it to M.
