Save-to-Disk is also an action. And a more preferable action for me. My suggestion
fullfills these standards in every way.

Confirmations are not needed for my suggestion. Only the option to change the default
action on leftclicks.

Well I'm not a programmer and I don't want you to tell how to design Mahogany. As
long as I cannot inplement it by myself that's not my decision. But every user has
her/his own priorities by choosing a mailclient.

At the moment I'm searching for a replacement of the mailclients some people use (my
parents, my wife, some friends, my colleges and myself). I remember of the happy99
and tequila-virus and how much work I had to remove it. Those virii came by mail. All
were activated by simple leftclicks. Today these users know they should run a
virusscanner at least after saving the attachment or better never execute exe-files
received by mail. But let's face it: my parents will not always remember to
rightclick, they will often leftclick, which is the most used default action under
Windows.

Oh yes- I never thought about that. That's absolutely enough for me.
