Yes, I have and Yes, it's not normal: I have installed GTK from ports,
and (1) in the OpenBSD is probably some special way for detecting
instaled GTK libraries from ports or (2 - more probable) there is a sort
of a bug in autoconf.
I have of course /usr/local/bin/gtk-config in path, library are in
libpath, but configure is stopped even when is started like
./configure enable-gtk-config=/usr/bin/gtk-config
(I read in the past same reports in some news or mail openbsd's groups,
that there are problems with this gtk-test and I'am SURE that everything
with my installation is OK (but one never knows, of course... ;) - now I
believe that this is IMHO only cosmetic trouble ;)

Oh, I see...

Thank You very much, but I will be not until friday with this OpenBSD
machine - I try this as soon as possible and I will report to you result.

You are right, I found (unfortunately today in the morning) that
c-client is in the obsd's mail-ports, i.e. c-client is not in the
standard distribution but in the ports tree.
But first I try Vadim's advice (see above).

this will be in very truth meritorious! What is operating system without
REAL mail program? ;)
Thank You very much for your responses
Have a nice Day
