Hallo,

in weekend I tried some experiments with mahogany and wxWindows on OpenBSD
-- but unfortunately I'd only limited time for it.

(1) First of all: thanks Vadim for your patch (about replacement c-client),
configure is running very well now - thanks!

But unfortunately, make is stopped immediately, because
****
%make
"makeopts", line 40: Need an operator
"makeopts", line 43: Need an operator
"makeopts", line 47: Missing dependency operator
"makeopts", line 49: Need an operator

%gcc -v

I hadn't enought time for next exploration, but I would like to continue
next weekend. Maybe now has anybody clue for this error?
[I put proper config.log and makeopts on these addresses:
        http://brz.d2.cz/M.config.log
        http://brz.d2.cz/M.makeopts ]

(2) ...and second about wxWindows' and gtk-config

VZ> JB> It say that cannot find gtk-config
VZ> If it can't find, it is definitely not in the PATH

my env for compilation was
****
%echo $PATH
/opt/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/local/bin
%locate gtk-config
/usr/local/bin/gtk-config
/usr/local/man/man1/gtk-config.1
%which gtk-config
/usr/local/bin/gtk-config
****
...unfortunately, configure is stopped with error gtk-config not found.
I put messages from screen and config.log on the web too on
        http://brz.d2.cz/W.wxconfig.log
        http://brz.d2.cz/W.wxScreen.log
(I remind that with switch "--disable-gtktest" is everything ok).

I cannot see where is problem, probably in combination autoconf+gtk?
(...or it's my error, I cannot exclude this :)))
