It would be helpful to know what RMAIL mailboxes are. With Google's help I
just learnt that rmail seems to be [yet] an[other one] emacs mail reader,
but I didn't understand which mail format did it use?

Isn't emacs capable of piping them through mail itself?

Sorry, I don't really understand what the question is here -- maybe
explaining what RMAIL is could help me to see it.
