No. Look in your message headers (press H) - there are still References:
and In-Reply-To: headers left. MUAs do threading using these headers.
Don't do this. Start a new message.

Can't be. Mahogany can use reply-to to reply, but shouldn't
generate reply-to header itself, if not asked.
