Following up: The POP server was just showing all the unread mail headers but not actually POPing the mail to my local NewMail folder. So I double clicked on the folder, which showed all the header, and selected and moved everything to NewMail. Now it is behaving as it used to.
I will look for a way to reproduce the anomaly. Let me know if it is actually not an anomaly but rather is expected behavior under certain circumstances. Alan Isaac PS One observation: long ago I reported that my message size limit was not honored by POP, and Vadim wrote that when he set a message size limit he could see the large message left in his POP folder. I had no idea what he was talking about, since I had never seen *any* headers in my POP folder. I did not even know this display was a possibility with POP! At least I know what he was talking about now. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: YOU BE THE JUDGE.
